FPT becomes a Regional Strategic Service Partner of SAP

FPT has become a key service partner for SAP in the Asia-Pacific region and Japan, marking the first Vietnamese participation in SAP’s Regional Strategic Service Partner (RSSP) program. The collaboration, initiated with a signing ceremony on November 21, aims to enhance capabilities and expand market presence in the region.

The RSSP program is tailored to foster collaboration among partner organizations within each region, ensuring the fulfillment of specific customer needs. To join this program, regional partners must meet or surpass SAP’s criteria in terms of operational scope, capacity, and alignment with sustainable development strategies.

Upon joining the RSSP program, SAP will provide support strategies, including industry-specific solutions, unified marketing strategies, and comprehensive regional market connections, offering significant value to customers.

FPT intends to broaden its service and solution offerings for SAP, extending its reach to customers across the entire region. Currently, FPT boasts 1,300 consultants holding over 900 internationally recognized certificates from SAP.

Chairman Truong Gia Binh emphasized FPT’s commitment to fostering global business development through effective resource management, expansion, and transformative growth during the signing ceremony.

FPT and SAP have been collaborating since 2003, successfully executing digital transformation projects in various sectors such as manufacturing, banking, financial services, and energy. FPT’s General Director, Mr. Pham Minh Tuan, highlighted the strategic cooperation’s focus on providing migration services to SAP, S/4HANA Cloud, and Managed Service to meet growing customer needs in the Asia-Thai region and Japan.

Before becoming a regional strategic partner, FPT had received multiple awards from SAP, including SAP Partner of the Year in Vietnam and recognition as the Partner with outstanding performance of the year in the target market.

Utkarsh Maheshwari, Director of Strategic Cooperation at SAP Asia-Pacific and Japan, acknowledged SAP’s extensive ecosystem and partner network, facilitating innovation and value creation for customers through collaborations with partners in the Asia-Pacific and Japan region.
