FPT Latin America spreads green message in Costa Rica
On the occasion of World Environmental Health Day 2025, the FPT Latin America team in Costa Rica, together with local volunteers, carried out tree planting and waste collection activities in the Barrio Dent area of San José. These meaningful activities are part of global efforts to protect the environment and improve public health.
World Environmental Health Day, organized annually on September 26, was initiated by the International Federation of Environmental Health (IFEH) in 2011. The day aims to raise global awareness about the close relationship between human health and the living environment.

Throughout the day, the FPT Latin America team and volunteers collected nearly 500 kilograms of solid waste and contributed to the restoration of green spaces—the essential “lungs” of urban areas. The newly planted trees not only provide shade and fresh air but also demonstrate FPT employees’ sense of social responsibility toward the communities where they live and work.
The activities in Costa Rica once again affirm FPT’s goal of sustainable development tied to social responsibility, where every employee acts as an ambassador promoting green values and environmental awareness to protect the planet.
