FPT launches new workplace platforms – FSOFTers worldwide can start testing from July 7

From now until the end of 2025, all FPT employees will gradually transition to three new workplace platforms: the new myFPT app, the internal chat app – FPT Chat, and the internal social network – FPT Place. Starting July 7, the Group encourages FSOFTers worldwide to join the pilot phase and contribute feedback to help refine the features of myFPT Next and FPT Chat.

This is an important step towards the “OneFPT” vision and reaffirms FPT’s capability to develop technology products for the masses. The transition to the new myFPT app will apply Group-wide.

The new myFPT – myFPT Next – will replace the current version as a “super app”, integrating key features around five core values: Communication, Performance Management, Recognition, Personal Development, and Welfare. With this super app, FPT’s member companies can build and embed customized “mini-apps” tailored to their units onto the shared platform, enhancing internal connection and optimizing user experience.

Alongside familiar features already available on the new myFPT such as News, Reward, MyGold, FPT Care, and more, the new My Tasks function allows users to track and manage work more efficiently. Approval processes have also been streamlined and centralized under My Tasks, connecting with more than 30 tools across the Group, fully replacing the previous Approve Now feature.

Within FSOFT, employees will continue using both the current myFPT and the myFPT Next in parallel for the next three months, during which FSOFT will migrate its mini apps to the new version. Currently, key features such as MyGold, Payslip, Reward, FPT Care, Discipline, E-Learning, Survey, and Employee Info are already available on myFPT Next, and the development team will keep updating and completing the remaining features in the coming period.

For the internal chat platform FPT Chat, the app will include standout features such as assigning tasks directly through “To-do notes,” allowing leaders and staff to easily manage work, boost productivity, and communicate more effectively.

Core features like one-on-one and group messaging, video and audio calls, media, stickers, and file sharing, as well as advanced functions like polls, location sharing, and scheduled messages (on mobile), offer a familiar yet optimized experience with a distinctly “FPT” touch. Users can easily search messages by keyword, date, or sender; manage conversation data; toggle notifications flexibly; and switch between light/dark modes and English–Vietnamese languages as needed.

These new workplace platforms are designed with a modern, user-friendly interface, ensuring brand consistency across the board. The user experience is optimized professionally, unified look and feel — from visuals to interactions — contributing to improved work efficiency and stronger internal engagement.

The rollout of these new platforms will take place step by step, allowing users to familiarize themselves, experience the tools, and adapt smoothly. During the pilot phase starting July 7, all FSOFTers worldwide are encouraged to test the new platforms and share their feedback directly with the project team to help perfect the product — contributing to building modern, practical work tools that carry a distinct FPT identity.
