FPT Malaysia successfully co-organizes Workshop on Digital Transformation for Manufacturers
Recently, FPT Malaysia (FML) with the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) and the Malaysia Industrial Development Finance Corporation successfully organized a seminar with the theme “Moving Industry 4WRD: Government Assistance & Technology Solution”.
Based on Industry4WRD (National Policy on Industry 4.0) increasingly actively contributing to the Technology sector, from April 2021, FML proposed MIDF to co-organize the Webinar. The seminar was conducted to help small and medium enterprises in the manufacturing sector digitalize effectively and in line with the policies of the Malaysian Government. At the same time, the company supports these businesses financially in their investment in technology solutions.
Until June 24, FML, FMM and MIDF successfully co-organized this meaningful seminar.

Mr. Sudirman Alwi, the representative of MIDF, presented detailed information about the Government’s financial support policy with attractive financial ratios. At the same time, FML representative – Mr. Loke Jit Kwang – also brought useful information about advanced technology solutions (akaMES), which have the potential to promote automation and digitization for manufacturing companies.
As part of the program, representatives of FML, MIDF and FMM also answered questions about the Government’s financial support policy and provided pricing solutions, after-sales support and contact details.
Industry4WRD is the National Policy on Industry 4.0 issued by the Malaysian Government in November 2018. Industry4WRD has contributed to driving manufacturing and other related services to become smarter and more powerful under the coordination of people, processes and technology. In other words, the support from the Government and technology “players” play a particularly important role in helping manufacturers move closer to Industry 4.0.
