FPT Partners with two US tech firms to deploy advanced AI solutions in Insurance and Private Equity

FPT has signed cooperation agreements with two American technology companies, CR Labs.ai and Carlton Richards. This alliance aims to fully harness the power of AI technologies in the insurance and private equity industries while ensuring the highest standards of security, compliance, and scalability.

Both the insurance and private equity sectors are facing mounting challenges. Insurance companies must shorten underwriting time, enhance fraud detection, improve claims handling, boost agent productivity, and strengthen customer engagement. Meanwhile, private equity firms are seeking to optimize portfolio management and risk governance while adhering to stringent data security and audit regulations. Existing AI solutions remain limited — often experimental, insufficiently secure, or not designed to meet the rigorous standards demanded by regulators and investors.

To address these challenges, the alliance between FPT, CR Labs.ai, and Carlton Richards delivers integrated AI solutions that combine FPT’s global technology scale, CR Labs.ai’s deep expertise in insurance and private equity, and Carlton Richards’ strategic consulting capabilities.

The solutions can be deployed on-premise or via dedicated cloud infrastructure, featuring encryption, access control, and standardized security measures to ensure privacy and safety. Beyond deployment, the alliance supports clients through the entire AI lifecycle — from design, fine-tuning, monitoring, and retraining to regulatory reporting.

Through this collaboration, the three companies will leverage their core capabilities to deliver transformative solutions for the insurance and private equity industries:

  • AI-powered Insurance Platform – Automates underwriting, risk scoring, fraud detection, and claims processing. The solution reduces underwriting time from 20 minutes to just 2 seconds per case and enables 87% of claims to be processed online.
  • Agent Productivity Platform – A comprehensive AI agent platform supporting recruitment, training, lead generation, and sales assistance, improving agent performance by 25%. When deployed for a global insurer, the platform helped increase annual premium revenue by USD 280 million.
  • Customer & Agent Engagement – Using FPT’s IvyChat, a multi-agent large language model application that supports real-time customer service, contract renewal, and voice/chat consultation. IvyChat reduces claim handling time, cuts errors by 80%, and saves 33% in annual staffing costs.
  • Private Equity Applications – AI tools for portfolio optimization, risk modeling, and client segmentation, balancing innovation with strict audit and compliance requirements.

FSOFT SEVP & FAM CEO Dang Tran Phuong stated: “With our AI-first orientation and AI embedded in every FPT solution, we are proud to partner with global enterprises. Leveraging our technical expertise, worldwide presence, and AI-augmented workforce, we are ready to drive breakthrough transformation for our clients.”

Mr. Richard Brasser, CEO of Carlton Richards, added: “AI doesn’t have to be risky or experimental. When designed and governed properly, businesses can achieve both security and a powerful application. That’s exactly what this partnership delivers.”

Mr. Chris Hart, CEO of CR Labs.ai, emphasized: “In insurance and private equity, there is no room for error when it comes to compliance, privacy, or risk management. CR Labs.ai is committed to building AI systems that are not only efficient but also resilient under the most stringent regulatory scrutiny.”

CR Labs.ai is an AI developer specializing in private equity and insurance, with a focus on compliance, transparency, and scalability. It is a subsidiary of Carlton Richards, a management consulting firm that designs and implements advanced AI solutions and growth strategies for clients operating in highly regulated industries.
