FPT showcases Vietnam’s tech prowess at Expo 2025 Osaka
FPT proudly joins Expo 2025 Osaka as part of the Vietnam Pavilion, alongside leading Vietnamese enterprises such as VinFast, Honda, and Viettel.
Held from April 13 to October 13, 2025, Expo 2025 is the world’s third-largest global event, following only the World Cup and the Olympics. The event is expected to attract over 30 million visitors during its six-month run. Just 1.5 months after its official opening, it has already welcomed more than 5 million attendees. The Vietnam Pavilion alone sees an average of 9,000 visitors per day.
The Vietnam Pavilion, themed “Friendship: Together for Peace and Sustainable Development”, draws inspiration from the image of bamboo – a symbol of Vietnamese culture and resilience. It showcases Vietnam’s achievements across technology, industry, tourism, and culture, reflecting the country’s commitment to contributing to a shared and sustainable future.
Although FPT’s booth occupies a modest area within the pavilion, its presence carries symbolic weight – affirming the company’s role as a pioneering force in Vietnam’s tech industry. A corporate video introducing FPT is also played continuously on a large 2m x 3m LED screen, reinforcing the Group’s image as an innovative and dynamic global partner.
Last week, Mr. Trinh Van Thao, Chief People Officer of FPT Japan, visited the pavilion to encourage the team responsible for operating the booth on-site.
FPT’s participation in Expo 2025 marks a strategic move to elevate its brand presence in Japan – a key market in the company’s global expansion roadmap and to further enhance Vietnam’s image as a rising technology hub on the international stage.
