“From Good to Excellent” – Judges impressed by those solutions at FSOFT HackAIthon 2025

In order to select the most promising contenders for the FSOFT HackAIthon 2025 Finals, the judging panel – comprised of leading experts in AI, technology, and productivity – conducted a thorough evaluation of each submission, carefully considering every judging criterion.

As one of the judges in the preliminary round of FSOFT HackAIthon 2025, Ms. Duong Kieu Oanh, Head of IDO, expressed surprise and admiration at the level of investment shown by the teams, as well as the practical applicability of products developed within just 2–3 weeks. There was no turning back, nor any way to stand aside – “AI or nothing” was the spirit not only felt by Ms. Oanh but also by the entire judging panel with every team. “Each presentation had its own color, as every team demonstrated deep understanding of their domain as well as the assigned challenge. For example, EBS worked on contract evaluation separation, and GHC developed a training agent… I could clearly sense the dedication that the teams invested in their products”, Mrs. Oanh shared.

Echoing this view, Mr. Tran Nguyen Dang Khoa, Head of STU, noted that the competition’s challenges were designed to “force” teams to apply AI and “race” against the timeline set by the Organizing Committee. He also highly appreciated the coherence and the innovative ways teams utilized AI to tackle their assignments, particularly highlighting the integration of requirements with AI and the swift delivery of MVPs. “The most encouraging signal in this competition is that many teams delivered end-to-end AI solutions, leveraging a variety of tools to enhance productivity and product efficiency, such as F1.Aignition and GHC.AICodeCure”, Mr. Khoa remarked.

Looking ahead to the upcoming Finals, the judges noted that the strict presentation timeframe and competition pressure will pose significant challenges to the teams. Therefore, preparing the right mindset, problem-solving approach, and effective use of AI for scalable solutions will be the “formulas” for teams to succeed in their presentations. “It is important to emphasize the timeline: three weeks, not full-time, yet we can be fully confident in the expertise of FSOFT engineers when we see the products they have delivered. The teams have demonstrated strong One Team spirit, determination, and unwavering commitment to their projects”, Mr. Khoa commented.

As a member of the team responsible for designing the challenges, Ms. Duong Kieu Oanh also shared her expectations regarding the practical application of the solutions, as these are urgent problems that need immediate implementation to support FSOFT’s operations. “For viable solutions, IDO will receive the transfer of documentation, methodologies, and products from the teams to further deploy and widely apply them, thereby enhancing the productivity of all FSOFT operational activities”, Mrs. Oanh emphasized.
