FSOFT AI Residency opens course III

FSOFT AI Residency has just held the Opening Ceremony of Course III with 5 best candidates selected to become official residents and 9 students selected as interns out of the total 242 applications.

The opening ceremony was attended by FSOFT Chairwoman Chu Thi Thanh Ha, FSOFT’s Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer Nguyen Xuan Phong, mentors of the program and all students of all 3 FSOFT AI Residency courses.

Here, the trainees listened to the sharing and introduction of the FSOFT AI Residency as well as the training roadmap and outputs after 2 years of participating in the program; participate in bonding games and get inspired by the FSOFT Board of Directors and mentors.

FSOFT Chairwoman Chu Thi Thanh Ha affirmed the importance and investment of FSOFT in building AI resources. She also gave 3 tips for AI Resident when entering FSOFT: “Firstly, find a good teacher, because it is a new field, finding a good and experienced teacher leads The way is very important. Second, AI is a very broad technology, so segment the areas that you think have strong application potential in daily life and develop them. Third, discover your abilities and find the best place to develop them.”

The “Father” of FSOFT AI Residency, FSOFT CAIO Nguyen Xuan Phong sent his deep gratitude to the mentors and AI Residents who have been with the program since the early days. He also commended excellent individuals who have had initial results after a year of participating in the program.

‘‘From the early days of FSOFT AI Residency, the top criterion when choosing an AI Resident has been resilience. The journey at FSOFT AI Residency is inherently a thorny journey, to get every success as an accepted article must go through many difficulties. Always being patient, and getting up after falling is the prerequisite virtue of an AI Resident or a researcher when joining the program,” said Nguyen Xuan Phong.
