FSOFT awards scholarships to support talents at Central Vietnam IT University
At the end of March, FSOFT Central Vietnam held the 2nd “Korean Bridge Software Engineer Scholarship” award ceremony, continuing its mission to nurture and develop young technology talents at FPT University. A total of 8 outstanding students from the FU KS 01 class were awarded scholarships worth nearly 117 million VND.
The Korean BrSE program, which aims to train high-quality human resources for the Korean market, has been implemented since 2022. So far, the program has attracted participation from students of top universities in Central Vietnam, including FPT University – Da Nang (FU), Hue University of Science (HUSC), and the University of Information Technology and Communications Vietnam-Korea (VKU).

As of now, the program has trained 221 students and opened 9 training classes at partner universities: 4 classes at FU, 3 classes at VKU, and 2 classes at HUSC. Notably, one class has completed with 16 out of 17 students graduating as Freshers, all holding a TOPIK 4 or higher certificate (or equivalent, organized by LTI), and signed official contracts for 1 year. Among these 16 students, one achieved TOPIK 5 International (IIG) and five achieved TOPIK 4 International (IIG).
The recent closing ceremony marked the students’ growth after their time studying in the program. Among the 8 Freshers who completed the training course, 5 outstanding students received Scholarship Type A worth 18 million VND, including:
- Lê Thị Bảo Ngọc (TOPIK 4)
- Trần Văn Lương (TOPIK 5)
- Phan Khánh Quỳnh (TOPIK 4)
- Nguyễn Anh Thư (TOPIK 4)
- Hoàng Vũ Minh Anh (TOPIK 4)
Additionally, 3 other students received Scholarship Type B worth 10 million VND, including:
- Hồ Văn Lẹ (TOPIK 5)
- Nguyễn Thị Cẩm Ly (TOPIK 5)
- Nguyễn Võ Khánh Duyên (TOPIK 4)
The Korean BrSE program continues to affirm FSOFT’s commitment to developing high-quality human resources to meet the growing demand in the Korean market and other countries. The awarding of scholarships to outstanding students is clear evidence of the program’s success and ongoing efforts to develop future engineers with strong knowledge and exceptional foreign language skills.
At the end of Phase 2, the program will continue to expand and create more learning and career opportunities for students interested in information technology, especially those aspiring to build careers in Korea.
