FSOFT Chairwoman attends Women in Tech event in Sweden
Recently, FSOFT organized the Women in Tech – EmpowerHER Conference in Sweden, which saw the participation of numerous female leaders in the tech industry, marking an important milestone in promoting gender equality and diversity in tech leadership. Notably, the event also created significant opportunities for discussions on the application of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence in the workplace.
Representatives from FPT Software attending the event included Chairwoman Chu Thi Thanh Ha, Mr. Le Hai – Deputy CEO of FEU , Mr. Andrew Allison, CEO of FPT Software Sweden, and members of the team in Sweden. The guest list featured Mr. Tran Van Tuan, Ambassador of Vietnam to Sweden, along with his spouse, as well as senior leaders from major companies such as Google, H&M, Volvo Cars, Scania, SEB, Business Sweden, and Vilja Solutions.

FSOFT Chairwoman expressed her pleasure and honor in sharing the stories of Vietnam, FPT, and her journey. She emphasized that last year’s celebration of the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Sweden marked an important milestone in the bilateral cooperation. FPT, with the mission of contributing to this development, has played an active role in advancing cooperation in the field of technology. Currently, FPT has an office in Gothenburg and will soon open one in Stockholm to expand its business and influence in Sweden.
Ms. Ha also remarked, “FPT Software has always valued the contributions of women in leadership roles. We are committed to creating equal career development opportunities, enabling women to assert their positions in the tech industry.”
At the event, the EmpowerHER Roundtable session attracted the participation of female tech leaders, focusing on three main topics: the gender gap in leadership positions and strategies to create a more equal working environment; the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in building fair systems and promoting women’s participation in leadership roles; and initiatives to encourage women to engage and advance in STEM fields, particularly technology and AI.
In addition, FPT Software organized special activities to connect guests and offer unique cultural experiences from Vietnam, such as hands-on spring roll making and enjoying a performance with the 16-string zither, one of Vietnam’s iconic traditional musical instruments.
