FSOFT Chairwoman Chu Thanh Ha: ‘F family’s One-Day Salary Fund opens up new lives’
A new life with smiles and faith in a good future for students of the Hope School is part of the motivation for FPT Software, in particular, and FPT, in general, to continue joining hands on the journey to contribute to the community.
FPT Software Chairman Chu Thanh Ha has just sent a letter to all employees of the company. It is a summary of the journey to share and spread love over the past year of FPT and FPT Software, calling on all F people to replicate and continue the journey for the community through the Donating One-Day Salary Program.
In 2021, over 14,000 employees of the F family and their relatives were supported with more than 26 billion VND. Those were contributions from unions, companies, and foundations. In particular, the donating one-day salary program has always been open and made a great contribution to this fund.
The F family’s fund was established with the purpose of sharing love and giving opportunities to the F people and the community. During the pandemic, the practical support from the fund could be clearly seen while in other years, the fund made silent contributions through the money donated to build bridges and schools and to sponsor treatment costs for poor children with cancer, etc. 200 concrete bridges have been built for people in the Mekong Delta region using the money from this fund along with dozens of schools in far-off mountainous areas.
The fund has also supported the F family’s members who have suffered from serious illnesses and is a small encouragement for the children of FPT Software employees who unfortunately passed away early or the families that were adversely affected by floods and storms every year.
Over 2 years of being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, FPT Software in particular and FPT in general still actively organize many health care activities, being the first member company to vaccinate employees against Covid-19. At the same time, the journey to empower frontline doctors, patients, and people in difficult situations in the community is higher than ever when the company had to witness the government and people struggling to fight the pandemic.
“We are having a long journey, longer than all the volunteer trips across Vietnam or over the five continents where people of FPT Software and FPT have set foot in. It is the journey to sponsor children of the Hope School, those who became orphans because of the pandemic. We have to do a good job of nurturing, protecting, and teaching these children to be grown-ups,” Ha shared.
The “FPT People Fund for the Community” is a key factor in this journey and the Donating One-Day Salary fund will be a practical contribution to keep the journey of giving love. Therefore, FPT Software Chairwoman emphasized that “The consensus and solidarity of more than 23,000 FPT Software employees will bring new lives, smiles, and hopes”.
Spreading love to get back the gifts that life gives through the Donating One-Day Salary fund is a way for the Software House and F people to look forward to good things in the future.
