FSOFT Chairwoman interested in creating settled life for employees

Settling down and stabilizing education are two of the outstanding programs created by FSOFT to help employees feel secure in their work. During an extended business trip to FSOFT Danang, Ms. Chu Thi Thanh Ha – FSOFT Chairwoman talked, understood the needs and connected among FPT member companies to create a settled life for employees.

Last weekend, Ms. Ha and the Board of Directors of FSOFT Danang visited FPT University. Here, she learned about the training and internship needs of the school’s students. According to information from Mr. Phan Trung Diep (FA.DN), FSOFT periodically accepts internship students in January, May and September every year. Students practice in two forms including focused OJT and project-based OJT. In 2021, FSOFT will receive 240 students and in 2022, FSOFT is expected to receive 183 OJT students majoring in IT and other majors such as Marketing, BA, etc.

Joining OJT at FSOFT, in addition to learning professional knowledge/skills, FU students are also oriented to support graduation thesis. Ms. Ha said that FSOFT plans to send about 20 employees to teach at FU in the near future. In addition to helping students approach careers while still in school, FSOFT can detect talents, mobilize FPT’s internal resources, and develop future IT jobs.

Also on this trip, Ms. Ha worked with Mr. Nguyen Van Loc – General Director of FPT City to discuss the addition of FPT Plaza apartments for FSOFT Danang staff. As a motivation for employees to stick around for a long time and develop a sustainable career with the company, hundreds of FPT Plaza apartments are being built and handed over to FSOFT IT engineers.

At the end of the trip, Ms. Ha stopped at FPT Danang Primary and Secondary School. Recently, FSOFT and FPT Education have cooperated bilaterally, offering 20% discount on tuition fees for children of FSOFT employees studying at FPT high schools. Particularly in Danang, FPT Danang School will support 10% of the tuition fee/year, continuously until the end of the first grade, and FSOFT will support 10% of the tuition fee in 2021-2022. The policy is towards creating favorable conditions for the children of FSOFT employees to enjoy the best educational environment at FPT School at a preferential cost; encourage FSOFTer to work hard and stick with the company.

The Chairwoman of FSOFT especially liked the creative space of FPT Danang students. Visiting the facilities and learning about the program to stimulate thinking ability and creative thinking at the school, the Chairwoman of FSOFT was particularly impressed in front of 3D printer models for school students to research and development projects together. Ms. Nguyen Thi Kieu Ngan – Director of Primary and Secondary School of FPT Danang – represented the school to give Ms. Ha a picture created by the students themselves. Encouraging the spirit of teachers and students of the school, Ms. Ha immediately “sponsored” cultural and studying programs here.

The meeting was part of a business trip of FSOFT Chairwoman Chu Thi Thanh Ha at FSOFT Central, which lasted nearly a month. Before that, she attended the kick-off session of FDN’s million-dollar project, and was the speaker for many workshops to inspire learning and share knowledge and skills for employees at the branch.
