FSOFT deploys to gather employee contact information in case of emergencies

To be prepared for unforeseen circumstances, FSOFT will compile all workers’ emergency contact information during the first quarter of 2023. This is also one of the requirements for the BCMS accreditation, which FSOFT just earned for their 2022 implementation of the ISO 22301 business continuity assurance system.

Nobody wants to find themselves in an emergency, but we must constantly make the best plans in order to be prepared to act. We can entirely encounter unanticipated hazards in any unforeseen catastrophes or calamities, such as hurricanes, floods, diseases, wars, riots, demonstrations, fires, explosions, etc. Maintaining emergency contact information, assuring current information on workers’ health and safety, and interacting with their relatives are crucial and urgent, according to the practical lessons learned from the stampede catastrophe in Korea.

All FSOFT employees must submit an additional phone number (which might be that of their parents, spouse, children, siblings or sisters, or friends) so that the business can contact them in an emergency involving the health and safety of FSOFTer. Identifying the relationship (parent, spouse, child, brother/sister, friend) to the phone number provided is also required.

The following is the specific implementation plan:

• January 2023: SSC finished modernizing the procedure for handling employee records
• February 2023: SSC requested information from each employee through email.

Employees who sign formal employment agreements and apprenticeship contracts with FPT Software Vietnam are the application’s subjects.

SSC will outline how to enter relevant information in personnel records (tool FHU) in the email that is enclosed.

Note: After the aforementioned period, employees who do not complete the declaration or make a fraudulent statement are responsible for any risks associated with doing so.

It is clear that updating emergency phone numbers is not only the FSOFTer’s duty but also their right when unanticipated hazards arise, establishing the most crucial and effective channel for communication between coworkers and between them and their families, businesses, and other relationships.
