FSOFT determined to “Climb 6 Peaks” and become a “World-Class Company”
After reaching the one-billion-dollar revenue milestone, FSOFT sets an even more challenging series of billion-dollar goals, the “New 5 Giga” and receives a new mission from FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh.
These targets were shared with all FSOFT and FPT employees by FSOFT Chairwoman Chu Thi Thanh Ha and FSOFT CEO Pham Minh Tuan during the special Group-level briefing meeting at the start of the new year 2024, themed “Climbing the Peak.” This is the first time FPT employees joined top leaders in a kick-off meeting for a new year.
While presenting the meaningful gift to the Group, “The first Vietnamese technology company to achieve one billion USD in revenue from foreign markets,” FSOFT Chairwoman Chu Thi Thanh Ha declared 2024 as a “powerful” year for the FSOFT family. Accordingly, the billion-dollar chain – “New 5 Giga” that FSOFT targets includes: $1B Single Market, $1B Single Vertical, $1B Single Deal, $1B Global Account, and $1B Profit Company.
Congratulating FSOFT on its past year’s success, Mr. Binh set a goal for FSOFT to soon become “The world’s leading company in exporting software to the Japanese market.” By the end of 2023, FPT Japan reached a revenue of 383 million USD, on par with the top 26 largest IT companies in Japan (according to gyokai-search.com).
Sharing about the New 5 Giga goals, FSOFT CEO Pham Minh Tuan stated: “FSOFT’s ambition is to become a world-class company. All billion-dollar goals reflect class, not the final destination. From 2024, FSOFT is determined to elevate, surpass the class, and become a world-class company.”
Therefore, the two leaders of FPT Software shared three action programs for 2024 to gradually bring FSOFT to achieve the “6 peaks” above, including: Increase revenue from key programs by 35%, grow productivity by 15%, and secure 5 contracts worth over 50 million USD
Also at the FPT Kick-off 2024 event, the Group announced the results of the F-Olympic business competition in 2023, awarding the Gold prize to the Software company. Mr. Truong Gia Binh, FPT Chairman, Mr. Bui Quang Ngoc, FPT Vice Chairman, and Mr. Do Cao Bao, FPT Board Member, presented the Gold Cup and a prize of 135 million VND to Ms. Chu Thanh Ha, FPT Software Chairman, and Mr. Nguyen Khai Hoan, FPT Software Deputy CEO, representing the team.
The 2023 FPT business competition, inspired by the Olympics, was launched at the beginning of the year with participation from Group member companies. Companies are ranked based on monthly business goal completion rate, quarterly profit plans, and growth in both labor productivity and annual business scale.
