“FSOFT is my first love”
“FSOFT is my first love, and first loves are hard to forget!” said Tran Thuy Van (GHC.GOD) as she recalled her decision to return to the place where she started her career.
That first love once had a pause. Van decided to leave, seeking new challenges, learning opportunities, and a broader world. Three years away from FSOFT allowed her to expand her perspective and gain valuable experiences. Yet, in the end, she chose to return—not because other places weren’t good enough, but because FSOFT had something she couldn’t find anywhere else: familiar colleagues, a strong sense of connection, and an environment she truly loved.

This time, Van was no longer the Admin of FSA HCM but took on the role of YU Lead for GHC. Her job wasn’t just about organizing events or connecting people; it was about preserving and fostering the company’s culture. This was especially challenging in a technology-driven unit, particularly in Healthcare, where people tend to be reserved and less talkative. Instead of trying to change them, Van chose to create opportunities for them to connect naturally.
Van’s work doesn’t follow a fixed schedule. A day could start with brainstorming ideas for an event, followed by designing communication materials, handling logistics, preparing content, and countless other tasks. The YU world is always dynamic, making every workday vibrant and full of surprises.

The VUI FEST seasons hold the most unforgettable memories. While everyone immersed themselves in the festive atmosphere, Van and her team were tirelessly working behind the scenes—coordinating the program, ensuring every little detail was in place. There were moments when she only caught glimpses of performances she had worked so hard to prepare or saw the fireworks through a tiny gap backstage. But the true joy came the next day, when social media was flooded with event pictures and colleagues eagerly shared their favorite moments.
Despite always maintaining a positive spirit, Van isn’t immune to exhaustion. But she’s fortunate to have her teammates by her side. “There’s always someone to share the workload with, and even when I feel a little down, there’s always someone to lift me up.” To Van, they are not just colleagues but friends who make up a truly connected team.
When asked what matters most in her work, Van simply smiled: “What comes from the heart will touch the heart.” That’s why she puts her passion into every program and activity she organizes. And perhaps that’s also what led her back to FSOFT—the place where it all began, a journey she never truly left.
