FSOFT to appear in documentary film screened in Canada

Recently, UniAction Films & Films de L’Hydre production company visited FSOFT to film an interview that will appear in a documentary to be screened at cinemas in Canada such as Parc and Musée in Montreal and Franco in TorontoParc and Musée. That is part of the celebration of to the 50th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Canada (1973 – 2023).

Representatives of the production company conducted an in-depth interview with FSOFT Chairwoman Chu Thi Thanh Ha to learn more about FPT in general and FSOFT in particular as detailed in the company’s outstanding milestones since its establishment and during its developmen journey. The documentary will also highlight the green and sustainable development thinking in delivery and business activities and the opportunities to develop and pursue one’s passion in technology for employees at FSOFT in general and females employees in particular.

In particular, FSOFT’s investment in Canada was thoroughly studied by the film crew such that about FSOFT’s branch in Montreal and the cooperation between FSOFT and Mila AI Research Institute.

In 2023, FSOFT and Mila will complete the first 3-year period of cooperation. 2023 will also be the time for the anniversary of the diplomatic relation between Canada and Vietnam. Therefore, the cooperations between the two countries are of special interest. Such cooperations, to name a few, are research and development to improve AI technology capacity at FSOFT, Mila’s strategic consultation to make FSOFT Quy Nhon (QAI) become Vietnam’s AI center, towards the Asian-scale development vision, training and exchanging high-quality human resources, especially young people with great potential and aspirations, and business development opportunities in the ecosystem developed by the two sides.

Finally, the film crew asked about FSOFT’s contributions to the community. Of which, FSOFT’s donation of a day’s salary to the Hope fund to build concrete bridges for people in river areas, relief for people after natural disasters, and care for hundreds of children orphaned by the Covid-19 pandemic left a strong impression on the film crew.

The documentary is expected to be screened in Canada in 2023 – on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
