FSOFT Tour: Experience Software Village, create the future

Recently, more than 250 students of FPT University had visited F-Ville Hoa Lac. Through this extracurricular learning session, the students were oriented about working opportunities at FSOFT in general and disseminated information about the Bridge System Engineer (BrSE) training program in particular. Since then, the program opens up the opportunity to recruit “talented engineers” in the bridge industry for FSOFT.

The opening of the FSOFT Tour is an introduction to FPT Software, the Korean Bridge Engineer program and job opportunities in this market. Representative of FSOFT Academy (FA), Mr. Dao Viet Bach – Head of Recruitment and Talent Acquisition Department shared about the culture and working environment at FSOFT, and provided information about internship programs as well as opportunity to “join the army” for FPT students.

Besides, Sales and Business Development Director of FPT Korea (FKR) Pham Ngoc Son also provides a practical source of information for students around topics such as life background, working orientation in the IT industry, career opportunities, internships, working at FSOFT Korea, etc.

Following the program was an introduction to the Korean Bridge System Engineer scholarship program, shared by FA Deputy Director – Mr. Nguyen Van Vinh. This is a Bachelor of IT training program, majoring in Software Engineering in South Korea, developed exclusively for FPT University students. The goal of this course is to train students in both specialized knowledge and Korean in the form of a scholarship of nearly VND 80 million. After completing the training course, students will be able to work onsite at FKR or other IT companies with attractive incomes such as Samsung, LG, Lotte, etc.

One of the memorable highlights of this visit was the awarding ceremony of scholarships and commending the students of course 1. Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai – an excellent student who won a 100% scholarship shared: “Korean Bridge System Engineer course at FSOFT has brought me valuable knowledge about majors, Korean language and practical work experience. I hope to become a talented bridge engineer and join FPT Korea.”

At the end of the program, the students experienced the green space at F-Ville, different from the initial thought of a common software engineering park. In addition to discovering F-Ville’s modern and convenient facilities, you also experience the working culture of FSOFT people. Nguyen The Anh – FPT University student said: “I think FSOFT is the right place for me to pursue my programming dream. There are many opportunities here for me to develop my career path.”
