FSOFT won FPT Cup Da Nang Football Tournament 2023

After many years, the champion of the FPT Football Tournament – Cup 13/9 Da Nang in 2023 called out FSOFT.

On the evening of October 5th, the FPT Cup Da Nang Final unfolded at the FPT Complex soccer field, featuring a thrilling face-off between two formidable teams: FSOFT Happy and FE-A.

This year marked a significant milestone as FE-A made its inaugural appearance in the finals, showcasing a confident, disciplined, and physically fit squad. On the other hand, FSOFT Happy had meticulously prepared, focusing on physical conditioning, participating in outside tournaments to gain valuable experience, and offering precise instructions and motivation ahead of every match.

Right from the opening round, FSOFT Happy displayed an impressive style of play, launching an all-out attack characterized by short, coordinated passes. The result in the first half was a commanding 4-1 lead in favor of FSOFT Happy, with player Nguyen Huu Tinh (FDN.S13), wearing jersey number 26, opening the scoring in the 3rd minute. Player Doan Trieu Vi (DPS.MS3), wearing jersey number 7, delivered a hat-trick in minutes 3, 10, 14, and 23. FE-A managed to score one goal in the first half through a penalty kick.

The second half witnessed a spirited comeback from FE-A, scoring two goals and narrowing the gap to 3-4. This score held as the final result, securing FSOFT Happy’s victory in the Championship.

In the 3rd/4th place match, FTEL secured a 2-0 victory over fellow software house representative, FSOFT Giga.

At the Closing Ceremony, Mr. Huynh Tan Chau, Director of FE Da Nang Office, and Mr. Nguyen Dinh An, Director of FPoly Da Nang, presented the Championship Cup and Gold Medal to FSOFT Happy’s players and coaching staff. Team FE-A received the second prize, while FTEL claimed the third prize, and FSOFT Giga received the consolation prize.

In the individual achievements category, FSOFT Happy also clinched two awards: the Best Goalkeeper award for Doan Van Kha (JES.JAC) and the Top Scorer award for player Doan Trieu Vi (DPS.MS3).

Luong Thanh Hai (DPS.DS7), Captain of FSOFT Happy, expressed his excitement and gratitude for the team’s championship victory. He highlighted their commitment to maintaining this success in future seasons.

The tournament’s top scorer, Doan Trieu Vi (DPS.MS3), who scored an impressive 5 goals throughout the event, including a standout performance in the final, shared his joy and appreciation for his teammates’ support in achieving the championship goal.

Despite their inaugural participation, FSOFT Giga put in considerable effort, securing a place in the group stage and advancing to the third-place match. Le Tuan Anh (FSG.JFD), Captain of FSOFT Giga, emphasized the bond that the team formed during the tournament and their hopes for better results in future competitions.

After nearly a month of competition, featuring 16 exciting matches and memorable goals, the FPT Football Tournament – Cup 13/9 Da Nang 2023 concluded. Eight teams, comprising nearly 150 players, gave their all, creating thrilling moments and eye-catching plays. Mr. Bui Hong Phong (FSG.GSC), Head of the Organizing Committee, expressed his gratitude to the players, FPT leadership, FFF Football Federation, and member company leaders for their support. He also thanked the Organizing Committee members and the passionate football fans who cheered for the teams, acknowledging the successful organization of the event in Da Nang despite tight timelines and inevitable challenges.
