FWA launches High-Quality Human Resource Training Academy CTA

On the afternoon of January 24, on the occasion of the AICamp 2021 sum-up event, the FSOFT Resource Assurance Department (FWA) launched a high-quality human resource training academy – FWA.CTA. The event marked a leap in the development of training activities in the field of AI and Data at FSOFT Quy Nhon in particular and FSOFT in general.

At the ceremony, Mr. Mai Thanh Tan – Deputy Director of FSOFT Quy Nhon summarized AICamp’s activities in 2021 and set out plans and orientations for the coming year. Last year, AICamp recruited 31 talented students with 8 mentors to teach, successfully organized the webinar series namely “AI For Youngter” and completed 12 projects, participated in international AI competitions, etc. This is the foundation for FSOFT and FSOFT Quy Nhon to establish a High-Quality Resource Training Department (Central Talent Academy – CTA), under the FSOFT Resource Assurance Board (FWA), led by Mr. Mai Thanh Tan – Deputy Director FSOFT Quy Nhon who concurrently holds the position of CTA Director.

In 2022, CTA aims to train high-quality human resources, focusing on AI and Data, for FSOFT Quy Nhon and expand to the whole FSOFT, aiming to be the No. 1 AI and Data talent training center of FSOFT. Specifically, in 2022, CTA will enroll 140 talented students with good foreign language skills, organize 15 webinar sessions and cooperate with 15 leading universities in Mathematics and IT, etc.

At the kick-off ceremony of the new unit, with the event theme “Fire”, the leaders, management staff and students were all highly determined to develop quality human resources for FSOFT, determined to bring FSOFT Quy Nhon to become a “bright spot” on the AI technology map and contribute to FSOFT’s sustainable development. “I hope FWA.CTA will ‘burn’, FSOFT Quy Nhon will ‘burn up’ in the coming years. Hopefully, in 2022, CTA will be successful and FWA is committed to always accompanying and supporting you,” said Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Bich – Head of the FWA Department.

Mr. Le Hong Linh – Director of FSOFT Central shared: “I want everyone to keep the flame of enthusiasm to bring the AI field of FSOFT Quy Nhon in particular and FSOFT in general to international stature. Wishing FWA.CTA a successful new year, achieving the set OKRs and creating a premise for development in the coming years.”

AICamp is a young talent training program implemented by FSOFT in Quy Nhon, bringing together many talented students from major universities across the country and international students returning from Europe and Asia to participate in training courses on intensive AI and Data. After 6 batches of enrollment, AICamp has trained 65 talented students and they are participating in real projects at the unit, and at the same time brought home many awards such as Best Paper Awards and Best Lightning Presentation at FAIC 2020, The winner at Zalo AI Challenge 2021; Rank 7 at Data-Centric AI Competition 2021.
