GAM.HCM welcomes its 1,000th employee
On the morning of May 16, with 07 new employees onboard, the number of GAM.HCM reached 1,000 people, and at the same time pushed the staff size of the whole GAM to 3,000 people. This is an impressive milestone for the unit in its journey to conquer OKR to become a “World-class Product – Engineering and Manufacturing Company by 2025”.
Thai Thanh Binh (GAM.AIS) – a 26-year-old man with 5 years of experience in Automotive was fortunate to become the 1000th employee at GAM.HCM. Mr. Binh could not hide his surprise when he was warmly welcomed by the GAM Board of Directors at FSOFT HCM, BUL, Vice BUL and all colleagues at the AIS unit. In addition to the gift set for new employees, Mr. Binh also received unique gifts including the FPT secret book with a personal dedication from FPT Software Chairwoman Chu Thi Thanh Ha and a card from GAM.HCM Director Vu Tuan Manh and a unique nameplate right at the desk.
“This is the first time I have had such an unexpected, fun and warm onboarding experience. I am very grateful for everyone’s welcome and will try to integrate as quickly as possible to contribute the most to the unit in the Automotive field,” the 1,000th employee of GAM.HCM shared his feelings.
At the welcoming ceremony for the 1,000th employee, Mr. Vu Tuan Manh (GAM.BOD) expressed his strong belief that GAM.HCM’s staff will contribute to successfully conquering the company’s 2022 OKRs and expressed hope that the 1,000th employee will spread youth and fresh energy to all GAM employees in Ho Chi Minh City.
By the end of the first quarter of 2022, GAM.HCM achieved revenue growth of 59% and a productivity increase of 19% over the same period in 2021. This is a good result compared to the target of 40% revenue growth and 15% productivity set from the beginning of the year. In addition, the unemployment rate of GAM.HCM also decreased by more than half compared to 2021. The managers of the unit are making great efforts to maintain this strong growth momentum.
