GHC earns another PgMP certification
At the end of October, Mr. Nguyen Duc Duy (GHC.PMO) successfully earned the prestigious PgMP certification, marking GHC’s third PgMP certificate in a single month.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Duy has been with FSOFT since 2014, later moving on to work with companies in the banking, finance, and startup sectors. In March 2024, he decided to return to FSOFT, taking on the role of Project Manager for the Episource Cloud project. With his extensive experience, he set a goal to achieve the PgMP certification within 2024.
Due to the client’s involvement across three time zones (India, Vietnam, and the US), Mr. Duy’s work hours spanned nearly the entire day, making it challenging to prepare for the exam. He utilized early mornings and evenings, after completing meetings in the US time zone, to study and review. “Scheduling the exam and paying the fee really motivated me to study more diligently. After that, I pushed myself to maintain daily study discipline”, he shared.
Despite already holding other certifications like PMP and DASSM, PgMP remained a challenging hurdle for Mr. Duy. Therefore, he sought to connect theory with FSOFT’s organizational practices so that the knowledge would go beyond theory and could be applied directly to his work. He also benefited from quality resources and invaluable experiences shared by FSOFT’s PgMP team, saying, “The strong study spirit and encouragement from the team empowered me to strive harder and stay determined to achieve this certification”.
The motivation for passing the certification was not just for the benefit of clients but also for Mr. Duy’s commitment to self-improvement and readiness for complex future projects. For him, FSOFT is a challenging environment that demands continuous learning and skill enhancement to meet company and unit expectations. “Achieving the PgMP certification this year is a significant milestone that boosts my confidence in managing projects and making more precise decisions”, Mr. Duy said.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Duy’s PgMP certification is not only a personal accomplishment but also a source of pride for GHC in project management. This success reflects GHC’s determination to build a team of professional PMs with global competitiveness.
Currently, GHC has 80 PMs with a total of 33 PMP and PgMP certifications, including 29 PMP and 4 PgMP certifications.
