Growing up and exploring the world with FPT Americas

From the “fateful connection” that led him to join FPT Software right after graduating from the University of Science (VNUHCM), 9x F-member Lương Triều Vũ (FPT Americas/FAM) began as a QA (Quality Assurance) and once worked as a project management assistant at GAM.DTI—the predecessor of FPT Automotive. Those steps became the foundation that prepared him to “set sail for bigger seas” when an onsite opportunity in the U.S. opened up.

At FAM, Vũ takes on the role of Technical PM, working alongside a team of more than 40 onshore and offshore members on system operations and development projects. His versatility allows him to switch flexibly among different “hats”: Technical PM/Project Coordinator/Business Analyst/Tester—optimizing efficiency and enabling cross-cultural communication.

“Relocating” from Vietnam to the U.S. is never easy: leaving the comfort zone, learning to adapt to a demanding work pace, and raising one’s standards every day. But it’s precisely those moments of daring to take on new tasks that best reflect the onsite spirit of F-people: going to learn, to grow, and to become a strong bridge between Vietnam and the world.

Currently, Vũ and his wife, Trần Bảo Trâm, live in Costa Mesa, California. Outside of work, they choose to capture their American life in a very down-to-earth way: weekend coffee, short trips, and peaceful moments.
