ICS.GLC wins first season of “ICS Testing Superstars”
Members Phan Thi Thanh Hoa, Tran Thi Tra Mi, Nguyen Doan Anh from ICS.GLC are the champions of the first season of “Testing Superstars” organized by ICS. Each member will get 2 salary increases after the program.
After nearly 2 months of organizing, and going through online and practice rounds, on the afternoon of June 8 at the 15th floor of FPT Duy Tan, the Final Round of Testing Superstar officially took place. The Final Round is a competition of 4 teams competing in Magic (LTS) – Unrivaled (YDC) – H.A.M (GLC) – Catching bugs (LTS).
On the eve of the Finals, ICS Director Nguyen Quang Hoa expects the teams to “unleash” all their expertise in the testing profession to create a true breakthrough and meaningful playground. “This is a specialized playground for the testing team. Through this, I hope that the brothers in ICS create the closer environment for sharing experience and knowledge in the profession.” As a Jury member, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dong (FQC.BOD) highly appreciates the expertise of the contest and wishes that the Testing Superstar will create a wave of sharing about the testing profession not only in the field of testing ICSer, but also in all FSOFTer.

In the final round, the teams together passed 3 competitions: Warm-up – Acceleration – Finishing. Especially, at the Destination section, the teams presented about the test plan, test strategy, estimation… as well as how to deploy the project based on the requirements given in the previous round of Practice. According to the BTC, these requirements were discussed and agreed upon by the Jury who are test leads of the BUs in the ICS.
After 3 tough competitions, team H.A.M from ICS.GLC won absolutely with 447 points. The runner-up named the team “No rival” with 362 points from ICS.YDC; The third prize belonged to the “Catching bugs” of ICS.LTS with 346 points.

Bursting in victory, Phan Thi Thanh Hoa (ICS.GLC) said, Testing superstar is a contest that helps the team string together knowledge of the Testing industry, and improve expertise through theory and “bones” lessons from the project and its predecessors. “Joining the competition in the context of high workload, it seemed impossible to arrange a time to practice together, but fortunately, it was the One Team spirit that helped the members overcome barriers and challenges”, Ms. Hoa emphasizes.
“Testing superstar” is a professional playground organized with the desire to find potential Test Leaders, towards professional testing services. For the winning team, each member will receive a salary increase of at least 2 levels, independent of the CHE period, which is an attractive point for the teams competing at ICS.
