Kaiwa Contest 2025: 75 teams embrace AI and elevate language
Following the tremendous success of its inaugural season, the Kaiwa Contest 2025 is back with a fresh look, increased participation, and an exciting theme: “AI applications in all fields”.
This year’s contest features an impressive lineup of 75 teams from FSOFT Vietnam. F1 leads with 20 registered teams, followed closely by FHM with 15 teams, and FJP VN with 7 teams. The vibrant atmosphere is resonating strongly across major cities such as Hanoi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, and Quy Nhon, promising a dramatic and inspiring season of competition.
As anticipated, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the primary focus for many teams. Participants are showcasing their technological creativity and insightful perspectives on a topic that is shaping the future globally. Thus, the Kaiwa Contest 2025 serves as not only a platform for Japanese language skills but also a venue for FSOFTers to demonstrate their technological innovation and inspire creativity.
This year’s contest remains open to all FSOFT employees who speak Japanese at various proficiency levels. The J1 panel invites candidates from N5 to N1 levels to present their insights on AI. Meanwhile, the J2 panel is dedicated to participants at N4 and N3 levels, giving them the chance to confidently share their ideas and showcase their ability to discuss AI on stage. Whether you are a beginner or already fluent in Japanese, the Kaiwa Contest 2025 is the perfect opportunity to express yourself, merging your passion for the language with modern technology.
The contest will take place from May 22, 2025, to July 8, 2025. The qualifying rounds will be held offline in each location: Hanoi, Da Nang, Quy Nhon, Ho Chi Minh City, and Can Tho. The top teams will advance to the final round, which will be held at a venue that embodies the essence of FSOFT’s language and technology.
