MAYBE 2.0: From FPT Colleagues to “Soulmates”

On January 11, “MAYBE – Switch On Connections, Catch Affection” took place at FPT Tower Pham Van Bach, offering a memorable experience for single FSOFT-ers and FTEL-ers.

Building on the success of its first season, MAYBE returned with version 2.0—fresher, deeper, with clearer signals and more connections than ever. The seamless collaboration between the organizing teams at FPT Software and FPT Telecom transformed technology into a bridge for emotions, perfectly embodying the message “Switch On Connections, Catch Affection.” MAYBE 2.0 encouraged participants to open up, listen, and recognize their own special signals.

At the opening, Ms. Phung Thu Trang, CHRO of FPT Telecom, shared: “Today, I hope everyone opens their heart, plays wholeheartedly, and talks comfortably so that everyone can be themselves. When people are happy and joyful, the workplace becomes warmer and more positive. This is the Happy Workplace spirit that FPT treasures and strives to build.”

The atmosphere quickly warmed up with energetic icebreaking games, as initial awkward glances turned into friendly smiles and gentle moments of connection. During the Gala night, nearly 40 couples had the chance to get closer—enough fun, enough feelings, enough to remember. All together, these moments created a sincere and warm space true to the spirit of MAYBE 2.0.

Mr. Chu Quang Huy, CHRO of FPT, representing the Group’s leadership, said: “I truly appreciate and commend the spirit of the 40 couples from FPT Telecom and FPT Software. Events like this are great opportunities for everyone to connect and discover new friends. I hope the MAYBE model will continue to spread throughout FPT, bringing even more new couples and FPT Smalls in the future.”

Mr. Huy also shared that FPT currently has over 86,000 employees, including more than 51,000 young singles. Therefore, expanding programs like MAYBE is essential to connect young people across the Group. He also announced a wedding gift of VND 38 million for each of the 13 FPT couples who found love through MAYBE.

The excitement peaked when Mr. Vu Tien Dat, CHRO of FPT Software, encouraged participants to be bold in seeking their other half, affirming, “You all shine brilliantly.”

At the end of the program, leaders from FPT, FPT Software, FPT Telecom, and FPT Retail generously gave gifts to the participating teams, creating even more opportunities for future meetups and deeper connections. Among them, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Trung – Chief Financial Officer of FPT Software – became the “Diamond Sponsor” with a gift of 7 million VND for the program’s participants.

MAYBE 2.0 has come to a close, but the hope remains that messages starting with “Hi, I met you at MAYBE,” after-work dates, or simply a smile when passing each other in the office will continue to spark new connections and lasting bonds.
