Meet the “wild dude” who speaks perfect English and French

Though many people know Tran Viet Nhan (ICS.BA) on Facebook as the “Thang Ca Chon” – a wild dude with a dusty yet promiscuous appearance, few know that the guy from Phu Yen can speak perfect Englishand French.

As the new MC of 131 Newsroom, Viet Nhan has impressed the audience as he can speak two foreign languages, English and French, like a native. It is known that Nhan studied French from grade 1 until the end of university with the goal of becoming a French teacher. After trying out in many roles before, Nhan finally set foot in the promised land of FSOFT.

Sharing about the opportunity to live and work in Hanoi, the young man recalled that he had previously worked for a non-profit project of the Belgian embassy with a headquarters located in Hanoi. After the project ended, Nhan felt that he was suitable for Hanoi’s lifestyle, so he decided to stay and switch to the IT industry as a BA. “In this new position, I have the opportunity to unleash all my skills and apply my foreign language strengths when working with global clients in many diverse projects. It can be said that BA is also a potential career and I can actually visualize the path of personal development when choosing this career”, Nhan said.

Viet Nhan is the new MC in 131 Newsroom.Currently, Viet Nhan is working directly with clients at ICS.BA to receive requirements, analyze, evaluate, propose solutions, negotiate and write documents so that the development team can implement functions and features. Nhan’s daily work of documenting and communicating with clients revolves around English. This is a vital condition to work in a BA position. Particularly for French, Nhan will use it when “supporting” French clients to build relationship and flexible exchange information as French people sometimes do not speak very good English.

Nhan said that his goal in 2022 is to help projects and products go-live successfully and continue to sign new contracts for new markets. Afterwards for him is to learn leadership and management skills. In the future, Nhan wants to handle more projects that need BA’s support and prove the importance and influence of a quality BA in FSOFT projects.
