‘New captain’ and ambition for triple growth at FDN G3
In May 2022, FDN G3 welcomed the new BUL, Mr. Nguyen Binh Minh (Min Nguyen). With experience fighting in foreign markets, Mr. Minh aims to help FDN G3 grow threefold and increase FDN’s delivery capacity for the APAC market in 2022.
Joining FSOFT in March 2010, Mr. Minh has experienced various positions from Dev, Teamlead, SA, PM, Sales Leader, to Delivery Manager for clients in the US, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Korea, and on. In the two battlefields of Malaysia and Korea, as a direct presale DM in charge of communication with clients, he learned many lessons on how to do projects, understand the market, and utilize FSOFT’s strengths/strategies/capabilities with consideration into each specific client groups.
Returning from OB to offshore, he took on the task of leading FDN G3, Mr. Minh wanted to promote the capacity of each individual in the organization. Meetings will be held regularly to listen to thoughts and allow members to share their difficulties with each other in the BU. Key members (PM, Teamlead, etc.) will be encouraged to improve upon their communication and foreign language skills.
In addition, he will recruit from 10 to 30 PM, SA, Techlead (Dev 4 up), to find more mysterious factors and create new vitality for FDN.G3. “I hope to be able to contribute my OB battle experience to new FDN clients. The age of FDN G3 personnel is quite young. My first action is to motivate young people and make them more enthusiastic and more passionate. Increasing new clients, promoting existing Low-code capacity, thereby growing FDN G3 by 3 times is my biggest OKR in 2022″, “captain” Min Nguyen expects.
With the goal of contributing 50% of FDN’s army to the dream of having 10,001 FSOFT employees in the central region by 2024, Mr. Minh believes that FDN G3 has the advantage when major partners are all potential clients of FSOFT. Accompanying FDN’s ambition, G3 aims to develop its size to have more than 200 employees in 2022. The unit also entered the Low-code Program – FSOFT’s key program this year and many years forward.
Using Mark Twain’s quote as the slogan for FDN G3 – “Continuous improvement is better than delayed perfection”, Mr. Minh hopes that the “FDN G3 train” will always stay united, passionate, confident and proactive to accomplish the planned goals. “FSOFT has this saying that I always want to tell you – It’s okay to be wrong, but not ok to be afraid”, Mr. Minh reminded.
