Over VND 1.8 billion donated to FSOFTers’ families affected by storms and floods
FSOFT’s Trade Union has recorded 458 FSOFTers and their families affected by Typhoon Yagi. Acting swiftly to assess the situation, the Union has provided VND 1.8 billion in aid through two rounds of disbursement, with a third round currently in progress.
FSOFTers can continue to report their damage via THIS FORM. Additionally, the FSOFTers Helping Each Other group on Workplace will share updates on the situation NGƯỜI FSOFT GIÚP NHAU. The Trade Union hopes that, while the support may only cover a small portion of the losses, it will help FSOFTers’ families stabilize their lives soon.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Chinh (FI), whose parents live in Quang Ninh, one of the provinces heavily impacted by Typhoon Yagi, shared: “The support from the Trade Union has been a great source of encouragement for my family, making me feel like at FPT, no one is left behind”.

In response to the Trade Union’s call, FSOFTers have contributed over VND 663 million, ready to fund charitable trips to storm-stricken areas to help locals rebuild their lives and ensure children can return to school fully equipped.
Additionally, FJP alone has allocated funds and raised over 2.7 million yen (equivalent to more than VND 512 million) from its employees living and working in Japan. All of this money will be sent back to Vietnam through two channels: 50% will be transferred to FSOFT’s Trade Union fund, and the other 50% will be directed to the Hope Foundation to continue supporting communities through the foundation’s programs.
