PM Contest 2025: Key figures after two weeks of kickoff

Two weeks since the official launch, PM Contest 2025 has received strong engagement from the FSOFT Project Manager community, with a total of 30 teams registered from various FSU units.

EBS is currently leading in the number of team registrations, reflecting a proactive and serious approach to this year’s competition. Close behind are FA, FHM, FKR, and FHN, familiar names that have consistently maintained strong performances in previous seasons. Meanwhile, several other units are actively preparing their teams as the registration deadline at the end of the month approaches.

In the Warm Up round, a multiple-choice quiz on the myFPT platform, 332 total submissions have been recorded, with an average score of 4.03/10. GHC currently leads in participation (41 submissions), followed by FHM and FHN with 36 each. FA (33), EBS, and F1 (30 each) have also shown strong engagement. Other units such as FKR, GIF, GST, and DXG continue to participate steadily, contributing to a vibrant and competitive kickoff phase.

The second week of the Warm Up round officially begins on July 21, with new questions updated daily, focusing on real-world scenarios aligned with PMP/ACP standards. This provides contestants with an opportunity to sharpen their practical thinking skills and develop a structured approach to exam preparation. The daily quiz window from 12:00 to 13:00 on myFPT remains a key moment of competition, with the leaderboard constantly shifting and the level of rivalry steadily intensifying.

Notably, starting from Day 05 (July 22), the Warm Up round will be open to all FSOFT employees, instead of being limited to Project Managers as in the initial phase. This adjustment aims to promote a culture of proactive learning and spread project management thinking more broadly across the organization.

To accommodate participants who have not yet had a chance to join, the Organizing Committee will add an extra quiz session on Day 07 (July 28) – a valuable opportunity for individuals and units that have yet to score to “make a comeback” and secure a spot on the leaderboard before the Warm Up phase concludes.

The registration period will officially close on July 31, 2025, marking the end of the kickoff phase and the beginning of the next, more advanced stages of the competition. Shortly after, the Organizing Committee will finalize and publish the official list of participating teams for the 10th edition of PM Contest.
