On December 26th at 5:00 PM, the final round of the iKhiến 2023 competition officially takes place under the title “Shark Tank – iKhiến bạc tỷ” at Hall A, FPT Tower (Hanoi). The four innovative projects are divided into two groups, competing by persuading the “sharks” to secure investments for further development.

In Group A, the showdown will be between the FPT IS author team with the FPT.IDCheck project and the MaaZ BSW & MaaZ Studio project affiliated with FPT Software. For Group B, the Software team brings the PEAR – Personal Enhancement ARea project to compete with the Retail team’s Long Châu Delivery System project.

Each team can have a maximum of four members, ensuring sufficient personnel responsible for technology and finance. The two teams will draw lots to determine the order of direct competition on stage. In their presentations, the author teams will use slides, videos, or any form to emphasize the advantages of their projects. Additionally, the demo products need to be presented directly on stage to demonstrate the effectiveness of the innovations.

The teams will go through three competition rounds. Specifically, the Demonstration round will take place for 10 minutes per team, the Debate round for 5 minutes per team, and the Negotiation round for 10 minutes per team. The total duration for each group is 50 minutes.

In the Demonstration round, for Group A – Regarding commercialized products and services, the two teams must introduce and demonstrate the highlights of their products, including business efficiency and market analysis. Additionally, the author team must present a business plan (expansion development) and the amount of investment needed for future development.

For Group B – Regarding processes and working tools, the author team must introduce and demonstrate the highlights and special features of the tool or system, highlighting the achieved results or future prospects of the project. Besides, the team must indicate the resources needed for investment to achieve better results in the future.

In the Debate round, the two teams on stage ask questions to each other for 2 minutes. The goal is to clarify the weaknesses of the opponent. The remaining team has 3 minutes to answer. Questions are continuously asked, and after 5 seconds at the end of the question, if the team does not ask more questions, it is considered to have stopped asking questions. If the questioning team does not use the entire 2 minutes, the remaining time will be added to the time for the answering team.

For the Negotiation round, the judging panel asks questions for each team within 10 minutes. The teams answer the questions and persuade the judging panel to invest in their product.
