Technology application in handling violations of regulations on pandemic prevention
According to a “purchase order” from Delivery Director – Mr. Do Van Khac, NextG “Incubator” has developed the NextEye solution, which can be integrated with the camera system at FSOFT’s office to detect cases of people not wearing masks. This is one of the measures to discipline FSOFTers to seriously use masks to protect themselves and people around.
The company will use the data recorded from the solution to remind and penalize those who do not comply with the regulations with a fine of 200,000 VND/time of violation. In case of repeated violations, a penalty card will be issued on myFPT.
When integrated into the existing camera system, NextEye helps analyze and make judgments about whether the subjects comply with the mask-wearing regulation or not. The results are visualized and summarized into a report of indicators such as the number of violations daily/weekly/monthly; compliance and non-compliance rates by camera/area, etc. All images of violations will be saved automatically in the system.
In terms of technical characteristics, the solution uses analytical algorithms using deep learning models with high accuracy, which can be run on servers with GPUs or embedded devices. The system is designed to be able to integrate many types of IP cameras such as Hikvision, Dahua, Honeywell., etc. with the advantage of quick deployment. Up to 50 cameras can be integrated in one day. At the same time, the solution can always manage the status of each camera (active – deactivated).
Representative of NextEye solution – Mr. Le Bui Phuc (NXT.PROD), said that “On the system control panel, the cameras are displayed visually by area. If there is a violation, the camera will change color according to the level of danger and immediately display the image of the violator.

Currently, the solution has been deployed in FSOFT areas at FPT Tower Pham Van Bach. NextG is continuing to work with IT to connect camera data from F-Town (HCMC), F-Complex (Da Nang), and eventually all FSOFT sites/campuses nationwide.
Developing from the “purchase order” of CDO Do Van Khac to raise FSOFTer’s awareness regarding using masks during the pandemic, NextEye is also perfecting features such as measuring distance, detecting crowd gathering, detecting people lying on the floor, and facial recognition so that these features can be applied at FSOFT as soon as possible.
Given the complicated development of the pandemic, FSOFT is still applying the rule that all employees must wear masks 100% of the time when they are present at the company. That is counted from the time they enter the parking lot, elevator, office lobby, etc. with the exception of lunch during the pre-scheduled lunch break. Employees who do not comply will be fined 200,000 VND/time of violation and receive a deduction from the 13th month’s salary bonus.
