TravelMate launches Location and Checklist features, helping onsiters navigate business trips like locals

Following the release of Country Guide and Trip Documents, TravelMate on myFPT continues to evolve with two new features: Location and Checklist, aimed at optimizing information access so FSOFTers can better prepare for their onsite journeys. These tools not only help users identify key places in the destination country, but also support detailed planning to ensure every aspect of the trip is thoroughly arranged.

The Location feature provides a comprehensive list of essential places for onsite assignments, managed and curated by SSC. Onsiters can easily look up important locations such as hotels, office buildings, and pick-up points directly on TravelMate. A particularly useful function is the Offline Map, which allows users to save GPS coordinates for key locations. This means even without an internet connection, Onsiters can still access vital navigation information, reducing the stress of being in an unfamiliar environment.

Meanwhile, the Checklist feature allows Onsiters to prepare and verify all necessary items and documents before, during, and after each business trip. Each checklist is personalized based on the specific travel itinerary and clearly defined by SSC, covering tasks such as document preparation, progress tracking, and post-trip reviews. Onsiters can also upload necessary documents and stay updated in real time with any information changes or new instructions from SSC.

Previously, TravelMate had already introduced Country Guide and Trip Documents. Country Guide provides an overview of the onsite process in 15 countries, helping FSOFTers understand important aspects of local laws, culture, climate, and other considerations when working abroad. Trip Documents offers a streamlined way to store and access important paperwork such as flight tickets, hotel reservations, and client invitation letters—making each trip more efficient and hassle-free.
