Tu Duong Kieu Chinh (FHM.AKAT) – A bold female PM driving AI into the rhythm of an Automotive project

In her mission to boost productivity at FSOFT, Tu Duong Kieu Chinh, Project Manager from FHM.AKAT, has been actively integrating AI to optimize operations in the C99 project — a key initiative within the Automotive domain. Leading a 12-member team with clearly defined roles, Chinh not only manages the workflow but also champions innovation from the ground up.

For her, integrating AI into daily work doesn’t require grand gestures but begins with the simplest tasks. The project team relies heavily on GitHub Copilot and Microsoft Copilot, two core tools that assist in coding, debugging, and accelerating task completion. Notably, over 50% of project tasks are now AI-supported, saving an estimated 20–30% in effort and paving the way for a 10% increase in overall productivity.

With a flexible management mindset, the female PM actively cultivates an environment where team members can fully leverage AI’s potential. From establishing an “AI war room,” allocating licenses for the right tools, and enabling multilingual programming support to hosting knowledge-sharing sessions, she has helped normalize AI use as part of the team’s daily routine. All of this aligns with the philosophy of “AI for everyone”, making AI accessible, easy to use, and practically impactful.

Beyond using existing tools, Chinh and her teammates are developing a new internal AI-powered tool designed to improve UI/UX and address current system limitations. The tool is expected to be released internally soon, marking another step forward in FSOFT’s digital transformation journey.

Speaking about AI’s role in project management, the PM shared: “AI can become a powerful assistant in systematizing information, summarizing progress, and forecasting trends. When used correctly, it can help save significant time, costs, and resources.” However, she also emphasized the need for continuous monitoring and adaptation to ensure AI is applied correctly and tailored to each task type.

With her sharp insights, decisiveness, and clear strategy, this bold PM from FHM.AKAT demonstrates that when AI is given the right role, project managers can confidently navigate the path of innovation, maintaining quality while accelerating performance in the digital era.
