Udacity and what you don’t know
Since 2021, FSOFT has deployed Udacity to all employees with an investment of up to tens of billions of dong. Udacity is a prestigious learning platform, recognized worldwide for its quality and excellence in teaching content and a team of world-class mentors from leading corporations such as Google, Amazon, and Facebook. However, as there are still many questions raised about this platform, CTC will help FSOFTers answer some of the frequently asked questions.

Udacity Upskilling is a program specifically designed in the “role-based” direction with a skill set that is analyzed and selected to be suitable for each role and specific field such as Data Engineer, Cloud Developer, Cloud Solution Architect, Mobile Developers, and Project Management. (For more about the positions HERE).

First of all it is worth mentioning the diversity of training resources of Udacity. Udacity has many suitable study programs (Nanodegree), focusing on job positions and their corresponding skills. Students can easily find the right course for themselves. On Udacity, FSOFTers have the opportunity to study under the guidance of world-class mentors in English and learning method is mostly practice-based.
With the new policy, from April 20, FSOFTers participating in the Upskill training program on Udacity will not need to pay a deposit fee nor sign a commitment to work at the company. The basic condition to be met is a commitment to schedule 7-10 hours/week for studying and a confirmation from FSU about your participating in the program after passing the test.
During the learning process, with a TOEIC level of 400-500 and the support of tools such as Google Translate and Ejoys, FSOFTers are able to chat and exchange with the mentor in English in the Mentor Help group chat. If you do not have a colleague to register together, CTC will support creating groups for students whose interest in the same topic to facilitate your learning.
CTC will organize the program in batches once every month following the below steps:
– Step 1: Select suitable courses in the Catalog, then register HERE
– Step 2: Do entry test (not applied to foundation-level courses)
– Step 3: Kick-off, study online. During the study process, CTC will accompany the students and create groups for current and former students.
Along with that, CTC also publicizes information of members who have passed courses on Udacity for the students to conveniently look up and ask for support when needed.
