EBS expands AI training activities to enhance AI adoption

To make AI a true assistant for all members, EBS has been actively implementing a variety of internal training activities. These activities go beyond basic content, as the company also explores and shares how AI tools can be customized for specific projects to optimize productivity.

With the goal of ensuring that 100% of the developers in the unit become active users on CodeVista and aim to increase productivity by 20%, EBS continuously conducts overview sharing sessions about CodeVista for project developers. In these sessions, members are provided with essential information about the features and benefits of the AI tools developed by FSOFT, as well as tips on how to use prompts for maximum effectiveness. Consistent with its objective of integrating AI across all fields, EBS recently organized a workshop on TestVista for the unit’s entire team of testers.

In addition to training, EBS, with its specialized focus on competency development, emphasizes sharing best practices within the unit. These sharing sessions are not limited to theoretical knowledge; they are specially designed to fit the needs of different project lines, thus fostering a deeper connection with real-world challenges.

EBS’s continuous innovation in delivering AI training to its members is a key highlight. Recently, EBS successfully organized the Battle round of the EBS AI Contest – the first professional playground in the field of Artificial Intelligence, exclusively for the unit’s developers. The contest featured three categories corresponding to popular AI tools and applications like DevSage, Microsoft Copilot, and CodeVista, which received positive feedback from the unit’s expert council and nearly 500 participants.

Beyond focusing on AI adoption within its unit, EBS has also made significant contributions to AI deployment across FSOFT. The EBS technical team, consisting of 1 PM, 1 SM, 1 SA, and 5 Senior Developers, has supported the Head Office in creating training materials, guides, and specific case studies for widespread training. The unit has also organized numerous workshops in collaboration with other FSUs, held discussions with tech leads from various FSUs, BUs, and projects to develop highly applicable, tailor-made content for each unit.

Following the initial deployment phase, BU RTM – the first BU to pilot EBS’s CodeVista – reported that 100% of its developers had installed and familiarized themselves with CodeVista, with 90% of them being active users. The unit has also made significant contributions to information control, providing feedback and solutions to help improve CodeVista.

Determined to become an “AI Pioneer,” EBS will continue to regularly share best practices in the future. According to a unit representative, specialized meetings and discussions on AI will also be held regularly with full representation from the BUs, aiming to address challenges and share experiences in application, thereby optimizing the effectiveness of AI tools. Additionally, the unit plans to organize AI-focused competitions, primarily emphasizing the effectiveness of AI in practical usage. “Our unit hopes that FSOFT will develop a complete set of AI tools tailored specifically for FSOFT members, with a comprehensive knowledge base for specialized solutions and services,” the EBS representative shared.
