A Gen Z who chooses to “go all out” in FSOFT’s fast-paced environment

For many, Gen Z is known as the generation of innovation, creativity, and fearlessness in the face of challenges. But for To Ngoc Diep, an HR Admin at IVS, Gen Z simply means “living life to the fullest.” Instead of choosing a safe path, she continuously seeks opportunities to grow and prove herself in the ever-evolving world of technology.

Even during her university years, Diep had the chance to intern at FSA as a Product Management trainee. Experiencing a professional work environment for the first time, she was immediately drawn to FPT’s culture and decided to pursue a career at FSOFT. When she joined IVS, she initially saw herself handling HR tasks, organizing events, and supporting internal communications. However, she didn’t stop there. She gradually expanded her scope of work, engaged in various corporate activities, and discovered her own potential.

Diep’s willingness to take on challenges quickly made her stand out at IVS. Within just seven months, she was recognized as an Outstanding Union Officer—an achievement that came from her proactiveness, perseverance, and readiness to tackle new challenges. “If you don’t create opportunities for yourself, no one else will do it for you”, she said. This mindset has helped her adapt quickly to FSOFT’s fast-paced work environment.

The AI wave at FSOFT has brought about numerous opportunities, and Diep is not one to stay on the sidelines. With an open mind and the ability to quickly absorb new knowledge, she actively applies Artificial Intelligence (AI) to her work, from optimizing HR processes to enhancing event organization efficiency. As a result, repetitive tasks have become more flexible, allowing her to focus on strategic initiatives. “AI doesn’t replace humans; it’s a tool that helps individuals maximize their value”, Diep shared.

Her passion for learning and innovation is also reflected in her graduation thesis on FSOFT’s corporate culture. Choosing a highly practical topic, she conducted in-depth research on how FSOFT fosters an environment that encourages employee growth and creativity. Her outstanding thesis earned her a perfect score at the National Economics University.

Despite her busy schedule as an HR Admin and active involvement in union activities, Diep finds ways to maintain balance in her own way. She regularly exercises, learns new languages, and enjoys “healing” moments with friends. Her confidence and adaptability also allow her to shine on stage as an MC for many major FSOFT events. “The best way to maintain balance is not by avoiding challenges, but by learning to enjoy both work and life”, she said.

Looking ahead to 2025, Diep aims to help IVS build a strong and dynamic CyberTester IVS community. “Being a tester requires not only technical skills but also endurance and resilience.” With this in mind, she and YU IVS plan to promote activities that support employees both physically and mentally, from sports competitions and fitness challenges to wellness workshops.

To Ngoc Diep is more than just the energetic “youngest sibling” of IVS—she embodies the fearless, action-driven, and breakthrough spirit of Gen Z at FSOFT.
