Christmas cruise experience in Seattle with FAM.ST5

Unlike typical gatherings at home or in restaurants, Ms. Nguyen Thuy Linh (FAM.ST5) came up with a fresh idea for the FAMers and their families in Seattle to experience a Christmas Cruise on Lake Washington. “This is not only a special and unique experience for the kids, but even the parents are very excited,” Ms. Linh shared.

Departing from the Hyatt hotel, the cruise, themed “Cookies with Santa,” sails along Lake Washington, allowing guests to enjoy the scenic views. Stopping on the other side of the lake, guests are treated to Christmas carols and captivating stories from Santa Claus. Specially, the children will receive early presents from Santa. As the boat returns to port, everyone eagerly watches as Santa rides a canoe to say goodbye.

Although he has been living and working in the U.S. for over 10 years, this is the first time Mr. Nguyen Van Thai’s family (FAM.ST5) has experienced this special cruise. The ST5 family had a warm, bonding time together, enjoying hot chocolate while learning more about one of the most important holidays in America.

For Ms. Linh, the atmosphere during Thanksgiving and Christmas in the U.S. is bustling, with decorations adorning every corner from early November. Ms. Duong Thuy Lam (FAM.ST5) shared that it feels very much like preparing for Tet in Vietnam. “Instead of peach blossoms, our family decorates a Christmas tree, creating a warm and loving atmosphere to close out the past year.”
