Cudek Library opened at Hola Park
After a period of preparation and testing, the Cudek Library – a library dedicated to FSOFT individuals in particular and FPT individuals in general, with over 1,000 literature books from Vietnam and around the world, officially started its operation on January 25th at F3, Hola Park. In the first two months of 2024, FSOFTers who register as library members will receive special benefits regarding the membership duration.
With the aim of building a community of book lovers at FSOFT and FPT, Mr. Phan Phuong Dat and the FSOFT volunteer team collaborated to establish and manage the Cudek Library for FSOFTers and FPTers. At Cudek Library, readers can access and borrow books in Vietnamese from renowned authors both domestically and internationally, such as J.K. Rowling, Cecelia Ahern, Agatha Christie, Mark Twain, and more. The library offers over 1,000 books in various genres including science fiction, mystery, thriller, romance, catering to different age groups among FSOFTers.
To borrow books from the library, FSOFTers need to access the Cudek.vn website and register with their personal email. Currently, the library applies two subscription plans monthly or annually, which are 13k/month and 139k/year, respectively. Especially, in January and February 2024, new members will receive an additional 50% of the subscription duration. Specifically, the 13k membership fee will correspond to 45 days of library usage, and the 139k membership fee will correspond to 18 months of service usage.
After successful registration and account activation, members can access the Cudek.vn website to choose and borrow books. The librarian will place the books at the Pick-up area next to the library on Mondays and Fridays weekly. After reading, members only need to return the books to the Drop Box located at F3, Hola Park. Each member can borrow a maximum of 3 books at a time, and each book can be kept for a maximum of 15 days.
In addition to books collected and purchased by contributors, Cudek Library also accepts book donations from FSOFTers. Donated books for Cudek can be delivered to the Open area next to the SSC compartment at F3, Hola Park, or X-Corner Cafe in FPT Duy Tan building (from 7:00-19:00, Monday to Friday).
