First FSOFTer Danang to own 3 ISTQB Advanced certificates
Ms. Duong Thi Anh Thu (FDN.DSI) has just become the first FSOFTer in Danang who owns a full set of 3 ISTQB Advanced certificates including Test Manager, Test Analyst, Technical Test Analyst. According to information from the CTC, Ms. Anh Thu is the 28th FSOFTer to receive all three of these certificates.
In December 2021, the DSI lady passed the Advanced Test Manager level certification. The content of the three certificates is related to each other quite a lot, so she decided to review and take the Technical Test Analyst exam in early 2022 so as not to lose some of the knowledge she has learned. Currently, she owns PSMII, ISTQB Foundation and the ISTQB Advanced trio (Test Manager, Test Analyst, Technical Test Analyst).
Compared to two certificates of the same type, Technical Test Analyst requires a lot of technical knowledge of coding. “The review material has many confusing code terms. For Testers who do not know the code, it will be very difficult to read the document and understand it. In the two weeks before the exam, I spent 2 hours reviewing every night to memorize the knowledge,” Ms. Thu shared.
The letter focuses on reviewing syllabus documents provided by ISTQB organization. Besides, she also took additional courses on Udemy to understand more thoroughly the syllabus document. “In the exam, the theory part of the application questions all revolve around this syllabus document and the course on Udemy will help students understand the material more deeply.”
The most thrilling moment of Ms. Thu is right after registering for the certification exam, she received the news that she was F0. The original test date was delayed by one week. “I am quite worried, afraid that my bad health will affect the study plan. Fortunately, I passed the certificate exactly like the original goal. The hot reward of 2,000 gold from the leader of BU is a great encouragement for me. Until now, I’m still very happy and can’t believe that I have completed this certificate,” Ms. Thu laughed.
Next May, Thu aims to continue conquering PMI-ACP certification, serving project work.
