FPT Asia Pacific attended the Vietnam – Singapore Business Forum with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh
Together with representatives from the two countries’ ministries, agencies, and enterprises, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the Vietnam-Singapore Business Forum on February 10. It is a privilege for Mr. David Nguyen, CEO of FPT Asia Pacific, and FAP members to represent Vietnamese businesses at this forum.
Singapore-Vietnam relations have reached a significant turning point this year as they commemorate their 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties and their 10th anniversary of their strategic alliance. FPT Asia Pacific is honored to be a part of this significant milestone and is determined to make a greater impact on the digital economy, which is a focus area for the two nations.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, stated that the 50-year relationship milestone is a crucial building block for fostering cooperation and establishing new milestones in the two countries’ relations. It also serves as the catalyst for elevating the relationship between the two nations in the spirit of “harmonious benefits, shared risks,” he added.
Mr. David Nguyen, CEO of FPT Asia Pacific, presented at the forum about the value of IT in fostering closer ties between the two nations. With the help of the government and companies on Lion Island, FPT Asia Pacific has flourished after 15 years in Singapore, ranking among the top 40 service and IT solution providers out of the city’s 4,000 companies. This is a tremendous accomplishment for any Vietnamese company, and FAP was able to achieve it in part because of the previous administration of Singapore’s strong assistance.
FAP is proud to implement numerous projects for government organizations including the Central Narcotics Bureau, ACRA, Housing Development Board, Singapore Polytechnic, Public Service Division, Public Utilities Board, Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board, Ministry of Education, and many others as part of the Singapore Smart Nation programs.
Mr. David Nguyen expressed FAP’s commitment to promoting new opportunities for cooperation and growth between the two countries in the global context. He expressed confidence in FAP’s position as a leader in digital economy initiatives and a strategic partner for many large Singaporean enterprises, including Singapore Airlines, Changi Airport Group, CapitaLand, StarHub, ComfortDelgro, NTUC Income, Standard Chartered Bank, Parkway Group, ST Engineering, Zuellig Pharma, and Technology is always changing. FPT employs 60,000 people worldwide, and FAP hopes to share more success stories with those employees as they pursue careers in information technology.
