FPT Latin America celebrates Easter, embracing the One Team spirit
This Easter, FPT offices in Costa Rica and Colombia celebrated in a warm atmosphere filled with connection and camaraderie. Team members gathered to enjoy traditional breakfasts, engage in heartfelt conversations, and strengthen the One Team spirit — a core cultural value at FPT.
Easter, or Pascua, is one of the most significant holidays in Latin America, symbolizing renewal, fresh beginnings, and hope. In both Costa Rica and Colombia, it also marks the start of Semana Santa (Holy Week) — a sacred time for reflection, family reunions, and enjoying traditional local dishes.
In Costa Rica, the celebration featured a classic breakfast with Gallo Pinto (rice and black beans), sweet fried plantains, fresh cheese, empanadas de chiverre (sweet pumpkin pastries), and arroz con leche (rice pudding).
In Colombia, the holiday menu included calentao (reheated rice and beans), arepas (cornmeal flatbreads), buñuelos (fried cheese balls), almojábanas (cheese bread), and the traditional “migao” — a comforting dish made by mixing bread, crackers, buñuelos, cheese, and other baked ingredients with hot chocolate.
Beyond being a cultural tradition, the celebration was a meaningful moment to reinforce unity and share the core values that make up the strength of the FPT collective.
