FPT Slovakia empowers its testing team through TOSCA Academy

In a continuous effort to innovate and grow from within, FPT Slovakia (FSK) has made a strong impression with its internal training initiative – TOSCA Academy. This program is specifically designed for manual testers, enabling them to approach and master automated testing techniques, even without any prior programming experience.

Running from February to April this year, the TOSCA Academy journey attracted dozens of learners, guided by nine experienced mentors. The entire program was led by Mr. Ján Piroško, a leading testing expert at FSK. Through various phases – from foundational knowledge to final hands-on projects – participants not only developed technical skills but also cultivated an automation mindset, problem-solving abilities, and a resilient learning spirit.

Notably, nearly half of FPT Slovakia’s testing team has completed the program, including one participant from a non-testing department who voluntarily joined with a desire to broaden their knowledge and explore new fields.

TOSCA Academy stands as a testament to FSK’s active learning culture, where internal ideas can ignite transformation, drive sustainable development, and embody the spirit of “When ideas spark at FPT.”
