FSOFT Chairwoman: “I expect each FSOFTer will get at least 1 international certificate every year”
Ms. Chu Thi Thanh Ha has her expectation that every year, each FSOFT employee will set the goal to achieve at least 1 international certificate, which can serve well their work and help bring FSOFT to the world-class target.
Having the determination to reach the “1B” milestone of (having revenue reach 1 billion USD) by 2023 and realizing that a World-Class company should be built on high-class personnel as seen in prestigious international certificates they own, FSOFT’s leadership always focuses on investing in the people to improve the capacity and value of each individual while creating a strong solid base for teams.
FSOFT hopes that each employee will be an important link in the sprint to contribute to the great goals of the company. Currently with more than 23,000 employees, if each employee owns at least one international certificate and maintains their motivation to learn and develop every year, FSOFT will certainly be a “distinctly bright spot” in the world technology market and we can be proud of and confident before any client or partner about the capacity of our staff.

On the journey to create the best environment for employees to learn, develop themselves, seize opportunities for career development, and work and settle abroad, in 2021, FSOFT bought nearly 19,000 Udemy and Udacity accounts for 140 FSOFTers to pursue their studying of data. While Udemy is a platform that offers a variety of courses on technical topics, soft skills, and foreign languages, Udacity is a specialized training platform in technical that provides job-based training programs and is suitable for most positions at FSOFT. There is also a team of mentors from leading corporations in the world such as Google, Youtube, Apple, Amazon, and Facebook.
Summarizing the past year, FSOFTers earned an addition of 3,577 international certificates. Our employees attened online courses for more than 200,000 times with a total of 1,000,000 hours of study (on average, each FSOFTer attended lessons for 80 hours). The “Enrich Skills to Succeed” program alone recorded 633 middile and senior employees completing it and being assigned to large projects in key markets of FSOFT such as the US and Japan. Units that actively participated in learning activities and achieved large numbers of international certificates are FSG, FQC, SAS, SEPG, FHM, DXG, EBS, etc.
Entering 2022, FSOFT will continue to invest a record amount to purchase courses on these high-leveled platforms for employees in a much larger number than last year. Specifically, the Udacity platform will provide FSOFT with 2,300 shared accounts, and these accounts will be flexibly distributed to FSOFTers who want to learn (after an FSOFTer has completed his or her study program, his or her account will be available for another FSOFTer to use). In the following years, the number of accounts will continue to be expanded according to the roadmap of 3,400 accounts in 2023 and 3,700 accounts in 2024. Each Nano Degree program on Udacity is worth up to 1,500 – 3,000 USD/course.
At the same time, with the support of leaders at all levels, especially FSOFT Chairwoman Chu Thi Thanh Ha, the Training Center (CTC) is also developing the latest learning policies and programs to create favorable conditions for FSOFTers to participate. Specifically, FSOFTers studying on Udacity will not need to pay the deposit fees nor will they have to commit to work for the company for a certain period of time. From May 2022, the policy to support the studying and taking of international certification exams will also be expanded to encourage employees to be more proactive in taking valuable certificates exams.
In the spirit of building an exemplary learning and leadership organization, in 2021, Ms. Ha passed the JLPT N4 exam for Japanese and earned 2 certificates of short-term training at Harvard University (USA). In the first months of 2022, Ms. Ha also won two more certificates namely “AI for Business Leaders” and “Data Science for Business Leaders”, which are certified by Udacity.
