FSOFT invests 6 million USD on upskilling for employes on Udacity
Recently, a representative of Udacity visited Vietnam to sign an official cooperation agreement with FSOFT and discuss options for long-term bilateral cooperation .
Since 2016, digital transformation (DX) has been one of the strategic directions that are focused on and promoted by FSOFT. Accordingly, the company focuses on training data experts – an important force for consulting and implementing digital transformation projects. Udacity is the world’s leading online learning platform that offers employees in-depth nano-courses with teaching and mentoring done by leading industry experts from Silicon Valley.
With a contract of up to 6 million USD, a representative of Udacity said, “FSOFT is our first major partner in Vietnam. Given FSOFT’s scale and employee-centric investment strategy, we strongly believe that the cooperation agreement between the two sides will bring positive results.” The representative from Udacity also expressed his desire to spread the spirit of training and learning to not only FSOFT, and FPT but also to businesses across Vietnam.
CFO Nguyen Khai Hoan also expressed his expectation that after the training on Udacity, FSOFT will have a team of engineers and data scientists who possess comprehensive technology capabilities and consulting skills that can help effectively solve problems and support the delivery, business and operation activities of partners through the use on technology. This will also help FSOFT gain a competitive advantage when participating in projects with major global partners.
Upskilling is part of FSOFT’s long-term investment strategy for talents of FSOFT. It focuses on high-tech fields such as Data Science, AI, IoT, Cloud, and Blockchain. FSOFTers who have only 1 to 2 years on Data, Cloud, AI projects, etc. or have passion for these fields and want upskill themselves to join projects at FSOFT can register. In particular, FSOFTers will be sponsored by the company for the entire tuition fee when participating in the program, which amounts to 1,500-3,000 USD/course.
Specifically, FSOFTers will be able to choose suitable courses for each role and field such as Data Engineer, Cloud Developer, Cloud Solution Architect, Mobile Developers. FSOFTers can study with mentors who are top-class experts from leading technology corporations such as Microsoft, Apple, Google, and Facebook. In addition, the curriculum is well-structured and mock-projects are practical and relevant to real project. Upon completion, FSOFTers will also be awarded an internationally-recognized Nanodegree certificate.
