FTC Club organizes a seminar to recruit students from 13-17 years old

With great support from parents and members, FCT Club started enrolling students for the third class for the period from 2022 to 2025. To provide detailed information about the club’s activities and to answer questions from parents and students, an admission-counseling seminar will be held online via Facebook at 8pm on Saturday, June 25.

Inspired by FPT Young Talent Center (FYT) – the cradle to support young Vietnamese talents to develop, FSOFT Programming Talent Club (FCT Club) was established in 2020 to recruit passionate young programmers nationwide who are gifted but yet have the condition to fully develop. The program provides young participants with opportunitiesto foster themselves and become excellent programmers.

Right from the start, FCT Club has been identified as a key program of FSOFT with an Advisory Board consisting of important figures such as FSOFT Chairwoman Chu Thi Thanh Ha, FUNiX Training Head Phan Phuong Dat, Head of FSOFT Resource Assurance Committee Nguyen Ngoc Bich, and EDN Director Cao Van Viet.

Under the sponsorship of the Software House, the club focuses solely on one area, which is programming with participants being students aged 13-17. In particular, FCT Club is not an environment for young people to learn more about programming, but to help them develop their talents with the same amount of learning as university students majoring in Computer Science.

Currently, the club has completed the first two seasons, recruiting more than 100 excellent students. The students will work in a 3-year cycle at the club, each year is divided into 4 terms, starting in September and ending in May according to the school schedule. During the school year, the form of activities is online and at the end of each school year, students will participate in an intensive summer camp lasting 1-2 weeks. The tuition is 100% funded. For students with difficult circumstances, the club will consider supporting material for them to study.
