FWA’s strategic moves to ride the AI wave

In pursuit of productivity growth, FWA has been exploring the application of AI tools to create higher value, optimize time, and reduce costs while ensuring resources across FSOFT. As a result, the organization has introduced various AI initiatives and solutions, making AI a driving force for development and delivering significant value to both the unit and the company.

Aligned with FSOFT’s overarching strategic goals, the Workforce Assurance adoption of AI has streamlined processes such as candidate data handling, automated job-candidate matching, and improved applicant experience through tools like chatbots. These innovations have enabled swift identification and training of the right talent for production activities. FWA’s efforts reflect its serious commitment to investing, learning, researching, and gradually implementing AI across its unit, with the ultimate goal of boosting work efficiency, saving time, costs, and resources across various work areas.

Recognizing artificial intelligence as a crucial growth driver that can spur new opportunities, FWA has introduced numerous AI applications spanning recruitment, employee support, communications, and marketing. One key initiative is the Hirec Tool, which has been officially rolled out after being tested in mid-2023. This tool has increased recruitment efficiency by more than 20%, thanks to features like candidate data cleansing and automation of the recruitment process.

Additionally, FWA, responsible for meeting resource demands for large and small projects, identified the urgent need for fast and efficient access to information about ongoing programs. To address this, the team developed FWA.Hana, a chatbot that assists employees with timely data entry reminders, tracks CV sources, and promptly updates staff with information on events and internal recruitment policies across FSOFT.

Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thanh Trang, Head of FWA, shared that FWA is continuing its research and application of new tools: “Tasks such as CV processing, interviews, consulting, and personnel deployment will all be carried out through AI. Particularly, the integration of AI into marketing activities promises to bring more unique experiences to both internal and external candidates”.

She also emphasized that the biggest challenge in implementing AI is maintaining operational and data integrity. “With strong support from the executive board and collaboration from various units within FSOFT, combined with the ‘one team’ spirit and a young, creative workforce, we have gradually overcome initial challenges and laid the groundwork for the implementation of new AI solutions”, Mrs. Trang said.

Looking ahead, to further improve processes, FWA plans to organize regular AI training sessions, empowering employees to master technology and create a modern working environment where they can advance their careers while enjoying their work.
