GHC.DHM sends an experienced team to compete in the NRC x FPT AI Hackathon 2025

Following the achievement of having two teams reach the finals of the FSOFT HackAIthon 2025 (held last July), including one runner-up prize, GHC.DHM continues to form the “AI Cuder” team for the NRC x FPT AI Hackathon 2025. With a solid foundation in Healthcare and a clear strategy for solution development, the entire team is aiming to create AI solutions with high practical application value.

After making their mark at the FSOFT HackAIthon 2025, members returned to work with confidence and energy. Under the leadership of team captain Ngo Trong Quan (GHC.DHM), AI Cuder will develop highly applicable AI solutions closely aligned with customer challenges. Quan shared: “Having participated in many internal GHC.DHM Hackathons, this time we decided… to form a new team and test ourselves in a bigger arena.” Their passion for technology and relentless spirit of learning have become a powerful motivation, driving AI Cuder to conquer the second season of the NRC x FPT AI Hackathon.

With many years of experience in Healthcare, AI Cuder always understands that healthcare demands high precision and security. The two most important factors are data protection and data standardization. “Medical data contains sensitive information, so complying with international standards like GDPR or HIPAA is mandatory. Moreover, since data comes from various sources—images, texts, sensors—if it’s not integrated and standardized, AI cannot be effective,” Quan shared.

Therefore, the team believes that a good AI model is not only about technical metrics, but about solving real-world problems. Learning from the previous Hackathon season, the team changed their approach: instead of starting with technology, they now begin with specific issues and the real needs of users.

“No matter how creative an idea is, if it doesn’t serve a clear goal, it’s hard to create value,” Quan stated. “This year, our team focuses on identifying the business problem, the end user, and the application context—that’s what makes AI Cuder different.” The team consists of experienced engineers who have participated in many major AI/Data projects, such as Nguyen Hoai Nam (GHC.DHM), Le Van Khanh (GHC.DHM), and Le Hoang Nguyen (GHC.DHM). Each member is responsible for a specialized task, from building models and designing data pipelines to developing user interfaces.

Outside of work and serious brainstorming sessions, AI Cuder maintains a fun, relaxed atmosphere to keep positive energy throughout the preparation journey. “There’s always someone in the team in charge of coffee and memes, so the work environment is always lively,” Quan shared.

The combination of expertise, creativity, and discipline is what makes AI Cuder a strong contender for top prizes in this year’s AI Hackathon. The team not only aims to win but also hopes to spread experience and technological passion to other teams in the program. AI Cuder’s captain encourages: “NRC x FPT AI Hackathon is a valuable opportunity for everyone to learn, connect, and challenge themselves. Win or lose, as long as we give our best, we all deserve it.”
