GoVN continues its journey of connecting global employees with FPT and Vietnamese culture

As part of the goVN program organized by DCE in collaboration with FJP DEI and FPT Philippines, 22 global employees from various countries visited FPT Tower in Hanoi. The group had the opportunity to explore the working environment at FPT Software and experience the unique culture of both FPT and Vietnam.

FSOFT CHRO Vu Tien Dat provided an overview of FPT’s development journey. Among the core values that shape the organizational culture, Mr. Dat emphasized that the “Hungry” spirit – the constant desire to learn and the willingness to take on challenges – has been a key factor in FPT’s expansion into global markets.

Mr. Dat also interacted with the participants, affirming that FPT, with its multicultural working environment and unlimited opportunities, is a compelling choice for international talent.

On the afternoon of March 26, the group joined a Culture Sharing workshop led by Ms. Oka Yurika, a representative from FPT Japan. The session covered insights into the history, meaning, and usage of traditional clothing in Japanese culture. Global employees together with FSOFTers in Vietnam also had the chance to try on Yukata, a lightweight summer Kimono. The workshop provided a deeper understanding of Japanese culture – one of FPT’s most important markets – and promoted a spirit of learning and cultural respect.

According to the agenda, the goVN group will spend two days in Hanoi, taking part in global cultural activities at F-Ville and learning about FPT’s member companies. Afterward, the FJP group will continue their journey to Da Nang, while the FPT Philippines group will proceed according to plans set by DCE and their respective OBs.
