Groundbreaking of phase-3 construction of FPT Complex Danang

This morning (May 24), FPT held a groundbreaking ceremony for the phase-3 construction of FPT Complex, phase-2 construction of FPT University, and a number of other projects in the urban complex of FPT City Danang. With a total investment of up to VND 2,650 billion, these projects are expected to perfect the socio-technical infrastructure, creating a working area for technology engineers and providing the best living environment for residents in the city. Thereby, the construction is to contribute to the economic recovery and GRDP growth of Da Nang city after the pandemic.

Representatives of the city leadership attending the event were Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet , Mr. Ho Ky Minh, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vinh, and Ms. Cao Thi Huyen Tran. On FPT’s side, there were Mr. Le Quang Tien (Vice Chairman of FPT Corporation), Mr. Nguyen Van Loc (General Director of FPT City Da Nang) and other leaders of FPT subsidiaries and partners in the central region.

Mr. Ho Ky Minh hopes and believes that with FPT’s capacity and experience, these projects will soon be completed, put into operation and will bring about good results.FPT Complex phase 3 is the last piece in the puzzle that connects F-Complex 1 and 2 and form a closed circle of F-Complex with a total capacity of 10,000 workplaces. When completed, the campus of FSOFT Da Nang will create a unique architectural complex with a bronze drum on the roof and traditional symbols such as cranes, stars, and musical instruments.

The new building will also expand ancillary spaces for sports, relaxation and a large canteen for employees. Located close to FPT Plaza, FPT School Da Nang, and FPT University, F-Complex is part of an urban ecosystem for technology personnel working at FSOFT. The company’s technology engineers can purchase apartments at FPT Plaza and send their children to FPT School and FPT University.

Based on that foundation, FPT and FSOFT will contribute to building Da Nang into one of the major socio-economic centers of the country and Southeast Asia, a hot spot especially attractive to startups, innovation and information technology.
