Hola Archery Club: A new haven for sports enthusiasts

After 5 months of preparation, Hola Archery Club officially launched at F-Ville 3, Hola Park, attracting a large number of software engineers eager to try their hand at archery. The club offers not only a fresh experience with this unique sport but also helps sharpen focus and patience and fosters connection among FSOFTers after working hours at this CodeCation Campus.

Hola Archery Club (HAC) was established with the goal of bringing archery closer to the FSOFT community at Hola Park while also igniting a passion for sports. Co-founder Do Hai Bang (DCE) shared, “We aim not just to create a recreational space but also to help people cultivate patience and concentration – skills that are vital in both work and life”. This spirit quickly turned HAC into a favored destination for FSOFTers who love physical activities and self-improvement.

Although archery is still relatively new in Vietnam, the support from FSOFTers has helped HAC overcome its initial challenges. “We spent a lot of time researching and selecting suitable equipment to ensure safety and effectiveness for all members”, Ms. Bang added. This persistence has helped HAC build an appealing and safe training environment.

Leading the club is Vu Van Hai (GPE), an experienced competitor in the sport. Despite his busy work schedule, Hai always finds time to coach HAC members. “I want to build a community of archery enthusiasts at FSOFT, where everyone can learn and grow together”, Mr. Hai shared. His enthusiasm and dedication have fostered a friendly, close-knit atmosphere within the club.

With its simple and accessible training methods, HAC welcomes members of all skill levels. The practice sessions not only improve archery techniques but also enhance discipline and self-control, contributing to the development of a healthy sports community.

In the future, HAC plans to expand its scope with training sessions at professional archery ranges in Hanoi to further improve members’ skills. Additionally, internal competitions will be regularly held to identify outstanding talents who may represent FSOFT in external tournaments. Bang also encourages FSOFTers interested in archery, saying, “Stay persistent and don’t be afraid of challenges. Joining HAC will not only help you improve your skills but also provide valuable relationships and experiences”.

Hola Archery Club promises to become the ideal destination for sports enthusiasts. Come to Hola Park’s CodeCation campus and join the archery club today to discover and enjoy exciting new experiences!
